www.companieshouse.gov.uk Companies House itself provides information on over 1.7 million registered companies. Information available includes company reports, document images, company directors' details, dissolved companies and disqualified directors. The costs and options vary enormously.
www.hoovers.co.uk/freeuk Hoovers is good for general company data and if you click through Business Links/UK you will find a listing of 20 or more links in a Yahoo type format. Basic information is free of charge. More detailed information requires a subscription.
www.legalandgeneral.co.uk/pensions www.scottishwidows.co.uk/pensions Two sites with much valuable information about pensions and several calculators and comparison tables to help you. Other parts of the sites give good information on mortgages, life & health insurance.
www.trainingpages.com Claims to be the 'UK's largest independent directory of training on the web'. Recommended for anyone in training and education.
www.smmt.co.uk/co2 The site by the Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders provides details of the CO2 values for registered cars. Useful for completing forms P11D or deciding which company car to have!
